Welcome grads! senior year is a special time in your life and taking senior pictures is fun. My style is natural, bright and joyful, taking fun and creative portraits outdoors. For locations I like fall leaves, wildflowers, mountain backdrops, desert arches and red rocks. I like to create natural looking portraits and offer posing guidance so you don’t have to worry about what to do in front of the camera. Just be yourself is my motto. The best time of day for taking pictures is the two hours before sunset when you get that nice soft glowy light.
Nature is my thing, I like using flowers and leaves for layering and get creative based on the location we are shooting in. No two sessions will ever be the same, I am all about being ourselves and having fun. Bring 2 outfits ( no limit ) and plan on a 1 hour session. No photo limit, you will get them all, I do basic edits to all photos, I do not do photoshop, this means I aim to get it right in camera versus give you airbrushed looking portraits.
Senior guys we can go to any location of your choice, downtown with brick walls, the Grand Mesa, or a local park. I like fences and walls for guys to lean against, perhaps dad has a cool car we can use. Bring musical instruments, football or any sport or creative art you enjoy doing for props. Bring outfits – one smart, one casual, one sporty as a suggestion to mix up the looks.
Arches National park is a great location for a seniors session. My favorite trails are Double Arch and Turret Arch offering a variety of backdrops and arches. Easy access to trails from the parking lot with bathrooms for changing outfits.
Best time for a session is the two hours before sunset. If you’re on vacation with family there is plenty for them to do while we shoot your photos. Be prepared for wind and rain especially in spring time, the weather can change quickly.
The Grand Mesa near Powder horn ski Resort and Grand Junction is full of wildflowers in the summer and fall leaves in the autumn. I like using nature for backdrops, bring outfit changes, accessories and let’s have fun.
Are you available ? I am flexible and can shoot any day of the week and year round so there is a great chance we can make something work.
Price Starting at $350 for Grand Junction local seniors and $500 for Moab area. Will travel just message to discuss.
How many photos Just depends and hard to say, but you will receive them all, no limit. Figure approx 50 images per hour.
Delivery Photos delivered via an online gallery, full sized resolution. 1-2 weeks or sooner I like to deliver as soon as I can.
Will you travel yes I will travel anywhere, I just add on 50c per mile for travel costs.
Locations There are so many options in Colorado, Utah I cannot list them all. But will travel to Moab, Ouray, Montrose, Aspen just let me know where you want to go
