Moab Photographer
I photograph couples, engagements, proposals, elopements, and adventure sessions throughout Moab.
No stiff posing or forced smiles. Just you, the people you love, and the red rock landscape around you. I’ll give you a little direction when you need it and let the rest unfold naturally. Your story is the focus. The desert is the backdrop.
Here is how I can help you…
Moab Photography & Adventure sessions
I create unique Moab photography sessions for couples, engagements, proposals, elopements, and portraits. Each session is built around what you want to see and do, with a relaxed approach focused on storytelling rather than posing.
Sessions take place during golden hour and sunset, when the desert light is at its best. We’ll explore the red rocks, find the right backdrop, and let the landscape do the work while you simply enjoy the experience.

Choose Your Moab Location
From the red rock arches of Arches National Park to the sweeping views of Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point, there are countless places to create your Moab photos. I’ll help you choose a location that fits what you want to see, explore, and experience.
I’ve explored Moab for more than 25 years and know the area well, including quieter spots away from the busiest overlooks. We’ll choose the location and timing that give you the scenery and light you’re looking for.
“Some places change you. Moab is one of them..”
Sessions Created Just For You!
Choose your location, pick your outfits, and I’ll take care of the rest. The best time for photos is about two hours before sunset, or choose a shorter one-hour session closer to sunset. Moab is famous for its golden light and sunsets, so timing your session right means you won’t miss the best light of the day.
Adventure awaits…
What a Moab Photography Session Is Like
We’ll choose your Moab photography location together and usually meet about two hours before sunset, or at sunrise when that works better for you. Sunrise can be especially good for engagement sessions, with cooler temperatures, softer light, and fewer people around.
From there, we’ll explore, walk, hike, and stop along the way whenever we find good light or a view worth photographing. This isn’t about cheesy poses or spending the whole time looking at the camera. Come as you are.
We might hike a trail, visit an arch, wander through the desert, or head to a lesser-known spot away from the main overlooks. I’m also happy to photograph outside the main national parks if you want something quieter or different.
To wander is not lost
