Dead Horse Point Couples Photo Session

Dead Horse Point State Park in Utah offers breathtaking views and a fascinating history. The park sits atop a plateau overlooking the Colorado River and offers birdwatching, hiking, and biking opportunities. The park is named after a dark chapter in the state’s history. In the late 1800s, cowboys used the cliffside as a natural corral, allowing the weaker horses to die or be killed. The carcasses were then pushed off the cliff, leading to the name Dead Horse Point. Today, visitors can enjoy the spectacular views from the overlook, walk the many hiking trails, or take a mountain biking excursion. Be sure to stop by the visitor center to learn more about the park’s history and wildlife. Dead Horse Point is one  destination that should be on every traveler’s list.
