Enagement Photos, Couples Photo Session, Marriage Proposals

Getting engaged,  wanting to propose and need a photographer to capture the moment? I am in ! I love adventure, suprises and photographing special moments.   Let me know what you are thinking for location.

I have photographed couples at  The Colorado National Monument, Arches National Park, Dead Horse Point and various locations in Moab, Utah. Marriage proposals at Red Cliff’s Lodge and Corona Arch.

Couples session photos what to expect? We meet and start with walking and casual shots first, i will show you some basic poses for couples and then we have fun. I like to capture real personality, genuine smiles.    If you have never had photos taken before don’t worry about a thing just bring yourself and i will take care of  the rest.

Engagements and proposals

This was a surprise proposal held at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab. Despite  dinner being delayed and waiting outside  in 100 degree temp and  Kevin making a different entrance than planned   it went off without a hitch. I managed to capture the proposal and took couples photos afterwards. I made a little wood sign at moms request, being crafty  I can help with those extra details just let me know !

What to wear ?

Dress in clothes that you are comfortable in and feel great. Outfits should compliment but not match, for example don’t both wear white tops. Guys look great in jeans and plain shirts, wear a watch or cool belt. Gals wear loose fitting (not skin tight) cotton dresses or skirts with flow so when you spin it will move.

A simple necklace or hat will the give the hands something to hold onto to. I love boho or western styles with fringe and fun details it can make for great photos. Colors to avoid are dark colors like black, dark brown, dark green they are just bland and make photos look dull.

Wear a color that will contrast against the scenery we are shooting in. In the desert avoid orange, coral and bright scarlet red it can look funky in my camera. Pastel colors look great such as pinks, blues, olive green, purples, white, cream etc.
