That’s all I have to say! 🤍 I think I’ve finally found my style after 10 years of constantly shooting, learning, experimenting and figuring things out. Some people pick up a camera and seem to be brilliant from day one. Me? Not so much 😂 It’s been a long journey, with plenty of trial and error, and I know I still have a long way to go. But that’s the fun of it, isn’t it? You never stop learning, growing and finding new ways to see things. What a trip! 💒 My first out-of-state wedding, and What a trip! 💒 My first out-of-state wedding, and what an adventure it was. I’ve travelled the world, so I’m certainly not new to getting out there. I travelled solo through 37 countries, back before phones, social media and Instagram took over everything. 🌎 Time goes by so fast. Memories fade, the little details get forgotten, but photographs remain. They take you right back to a moment, a place, a feeling, and the people you shared it with. That’s one of the reasons I love what I do. Ayden and Riley’s wedding at Gansberg Ranch near L Ayden and Riley’s wedding at Gansberg Ranch near Lake Tahoe was beautiful, but somehow my drive home ended up teaching me a little something about relationships. 😂 There’s nothing quite like driving the “Loneliest Road in America” for hours with someone when you’ve started out a little annoyed with each other. Add several hours of silence and you’ve got yourself a pretty good relationship test. 😂 Eventually, we cracked the code. We talked. And guess what? The whole thing was just silly miscommunication. 🤦‍♀️ It made me realize how much communication matters. Sometimes you can spend hours being irritated, when all you really needed to do was open your mouth and actually talk about it. Maybe we came out of that long drive a little stronger. And then I got to thinking about Ayden and Riley. Watching the two of them together, seeing how naturally they communicate and care for each other, made me realize just how special that kind of relationship is. So here’s to Ayden and Riley, a beautiful wedding, a beautiful love story, and a very long drive home that apparently came with its own little relationship lesson. 🥂❤️ #GansbergRanch #LakeTahoeWedding #LakeTahoeWeddingPhotographer #NevadaWeddingPhotographer
