Moab Family Photographer, Arches National Park

On a warm June evening I met Dianna, Stephen and family visiting from Sacramento, California for a family photo session in Moab, Utah.

Arches National Park is one of my favorite National parks and a place I have visited over 50 times at least since I first started coming to Moab in the 1990s. I still remember when the park had dirt roads, no crowds at Delicate Arch and the small quiet town of Moab had very few hotels.
This particular evening despite the heat and smokey skies from a forest fire was busy with tourists happy to be outside again after a year of covid lockdowns.

The photo session began in Park Avenue, stopping at an over look before carrying on to Turret Arch. We made it to Turret just in time before the sun went down for a few more shots with amazing backdrops. The star of the show was little Andrew who had just turned one years old. This happy little boy stole my heart, making my job easy as he smiled for every photo with his sister.

I ended having so much fun I gave the family nearly 200 photos – when the light and the company is great I just keep shooting and I hope they enjoy the memories I was able to capture for them.

If you would like to book a photo session please send a message with the date and location of interest and I will respond within a few hours!
